"DRAZIN DAN" ["DRAZA'S DAY"] EVENTS JULY 2015 / Chicagoland, Indiana, Canada, and London

Aleksandra's Note: This year, 2015, we have a lot to celebrate during the "Drazin Dan" events. Although "Drazin Dan" is typically held in July of each summer to commemorate the anniversary of General Mihailovich's death, the patriots who gather together to mark this anniversary always celebrate the General's life and legacy so that Death does not have the final victory. With the official "rehabilitation" of General Mihailovich in May of this year by the High Court in Belgrade, Serbia, and the overturning of the travesty of his conviction on false charges in 1946, we have even more to celebrate! The "Drazin Dan" events typically involve a Christian Memorial Service at a Serbian Orthodox Church, followed by festivities that include good food, good entertainment, good company, and good times. Good memories are made and, perhaps most importantly, youngsters are drawn into the Chetnik fold to carry the torch into the future.
