"Draza Mihailovic was a Serbian Chetnik leader back in WWII. The Chetniks were staunch royalist and were fighting the Partizans within their own homeland. The Partizans were supporters of the communist regime. Draza helped over 500 American fighter pilots survive and escape the Serbian lands during the German occupation in the 1940's. The total amount of troops he saved was around 500!!!! The US government refused to let these troops testify to save the life of Draza who was captured by Partizan forces and put on trial for his life. The Tito regime had him shot. There is a wonderful book about the airmen and Draza called "The Forgotten 500". Here is a link to a newscast in the USA where some American troops talk about the Serbs...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5CXop...

I" am not sticking my nose in your political business , but I really respect this man for saving my countrymen. RIP Mr. Mihailovic!!!!!"
