Tuskegee Airmen - Their involvement in the Halyard Mission / New Update to "The Forgotten 500" / Info needed

*****

FROM THE AUTHOR OF "THE FORGOTTEN 500"
GREG FREEMAN
March 25, 2011:

I have some good news and a request. The publisher of The Forgotten 500 has agreed to update the book with the story of the Tuskegee airmen’s involvement in providing the fighter cover for the Operation Halyard rescue. This is a great addition to the story, and I’m now in the process of researching the involvement of the Tuskegee airmen.

I know that Art Jibilian was the one who brought to our attention the involvement of the Tuskegee airmen, but I would appreciate any information or leads that anyone has regarding details of their involvement. I’m in touch with the Red Tail Project, which documents the Tuskegee vets’ stories, but would you please pass the word that I’m interested in any information about this?

Thanks for your help.
